ABOUT US

Two different paths,
one family in the end.

Lisa focuses on the family’s overall wealth structure and risk; François specializes in investment research and asset management. Different perspectives, serving the same family strategy.

Two advisors. One family. One strategy.

TWO PERSPECTIVES

Understand the family first,
then manage the wealth.

Our own family has been through a stage where a company, a Holdco, investments, real estate, tax, retirement and legacy all had to be considered together. That first-hand experience shaped how we work today.

Lisa Li

Strategy & Insurance

From 2006, Lisa spent nearly 18 years in engineering estimating, cost management and long-term projects. That work built a habit: look at the whole structure first, then choose the specific tools.

In 2022, reviewing her own family’s finances, she realized investments, insurance, tax, retirement and legacy couldn’t each be handled on their own. She became licensed, moved into wealth planning full-time, and reached the MDRT standard in 2023, her first year in the industry.

Today, Lisa starts by getting a clear view of the whole family picture: corporate and personal cash flow, tax, protection, retirement and the next generation. As she often says, “Products are the materials. Strategy is the blueprint.”

François Messier

Investments

François has been investing since 1999. Before becoming an advisor, he ran a small business for about 20 years and lived through cash flow, costs, staff, clients and, finally, the sale of the company.

After the sale, he and Lisa had to work out how to manage the funds in the Holdco, how to use them more effectively, and how to plan for retirement and the next generation. That experience led him to become licensed and to place investment management within a more complete wealth strategy.

François believes in active management, which doesn’t mean frequent trading. Research, selection, monitoring, review and adjustment are ongoing; “protect the downside first” is the first question he asks when making a decision.

ONE FAMILY PLAN

Investments are the tool;
the family is the purpose.

Lisa focuses on the connections between decisions; François focuses on how the assets in the blueprint are researched, managed and adjusted over time.

Different areas of focus, answering the same question in the end: how can these assets work together for this family?

Start with your family.

Bring together what you already own, the questions you’re facing and where you want to go, and we’ll look at the whole picture first.
